The desk behind the program.

The Manhattan Chauffeur Co. program notes and venue-timing tools are produced in-house by our dispatch and editorial desk. We publish under a house byline rather than invented author personas — the people who plan real evenings are the people who write.

Who writes

A house byline

Program notes, venue guides, and operator landscapes are written and reviewed by the Manhattan Chauffeur Co. desk — the dispatchers and chauffeurs who plan and drive our evenings. We do not use ghost-written author personas. When a piece states a fact about a venue, a curtain time, a transit detail, or an operator, a member of the desk has checked it against a primary source at the time of writing.

How rankings work

What "best" means in our journal

Our operator landscapes rank real, verifiable companies — never invented brands. Inclusion is editorial: we list operators we can confirm actually run chauffeur and car service in the market in question, and we rank by fit for a Manhattan night out, not by who pays us, because nobody pays us for placement. We name our own service where it is genuinely a fit and say so plainly. Read the full method on the editorial standards page.

Corrections

Tell us we got it wrong

If a detail is out of date or incorrect — a venue's arrival policy, a drop-off, a curtain time, a toll — email boxoffice@manhattanchauffeur.com and we will verify and update it. Material corrections are noted on the affected page.
